Hello and welcome to HCM,
Presence of cocco-bacilli on
PAP smear indicates a change in the
vaginal flora.
To put it in simple words there is infection of the vaginal tract.
The suppository that you are given to insert is to control this infection.
Regular usage is required to clear away the infection.
Bleeding during intercourse can occur due to many reasons, infection and inflammation of the
cervix is one of the commonest cause.
Discharge is also suggestive of infection.
A swab from the discharge should be taken to look for the micro-organism causing the infection.
Avoid intercourse till the discharge disappears.
Once the discharge disappears, get PAP test repeated.
If you want to confirm or rule out
pregnancy, you need to take a pregnancy test for that.
Thanks and take care
