Have Been Bleeding. On Logynon And Yazmin. Is It Normal?
Hi there, I am on Logynon which has 21 pills in a pack. I have just finished my 21 days and now should not take anything for a 1 week to have a period. But I am going on holiday tomorrow. Can i take back to back with logynon? So start a new pack today? Also the last week i have been bleeding a tiny bit- is this normal? I have just finished my 2 moth of logynon. I was previously on yazmin. Thankyou!!
Yes, if you don't want to get your menses as you plan to go on holidays you can take it back to back without waiting for the 7days for withdrawal bleed. The spotting is normal unless there are any associated symptoms which you have not reported. also remember that contraceptive pills do not protect against STDs so always consider using a condo during intercourse. Beside protecting against STD, it would also serve as a backup for contraception.
I hope this helps and I wish you well. Thanks for using our services and feel free to ask more questions if need be. Dr. Ditah, MD
