Have Been Under Constant Drug Aduse. When To Take Suboxone Dose After Last Heroine Injection?

how long do i have to wait since my last heroine injection before i may take my first suboxone dose? Also, what is minimal required dosage for the first couple of days, keeping in mind my 25years of opium, heroine, methadone constant abuse..? It was at least 16 hrs. or more since my last fix, is that enough time to take suboxone 2mg - 0,5mg sublingual tablet now?

Hi there, thanks for asking. It is good to wait 24 to 48 hours after the last time of taking the substance to start suboxone. Suboxone is a very good medication for this regard. It has some properties which makes its unique among these substances. It prevents any withdrawal symptoms while does not provide so much euphoria to be addictive. The start dose can be 2 to 4 mg sublingual. It should be increase every 2 to 3 days. If you feel uncomfortable during the first days, you can ask your doctor to give to a medication to manage that situation. I wish you a good health.
