Have Below Knee Prosthetics, Leg Hurts, Sore, Difficulty Walking, Sitting. Other Center?

My son has had 4 different below the knee prosthetics made by 3 different practioners. His leg hurts him most of the time and gets sore easily. He lost his leg 6 years ago. He is only 29 years old and really can't enjoy any of his previous activities as golfing, biking, hiking, snowboarding, even just walking and sitting. Is there a center that works with people that are hard to fit?

Orthopaedic Surgeon 's  Response
Hello.
Thanks for writing to us.
The persistent pain in the knee prosthetic could be due to an ill fitting prosthetic, a nerve compression or a neuropathic pain. This needs a direct examination for diagnosis.
I hope this information has been both informative and helpful for you.
