Have Blocked Fallopian Tube. Done With Endometriosis Surgery. Chances Of Conceiving?
Hello. I know someone who recently had surgery (keyhole) for her endometriosis , which was in fact a Grade 3 - 4 in severity, she also has one fallopian tube totally blocked with endo. I have read quite a lot from women who have had endo, but just wondering honestly what your thoughts are about what her chances will be in conceiving a child ? Thankyou.
Hello,
thanks for using health care magic
At moment, from the information you have given, there is just the problem of blocked tube that can affect her fertility. However, since its just one tube, if the other is still microscopically okay, then there is no reason to be afraid off regarding her fertility.
At moment, the first thing to do is to investigate for the cause of the blocked tube because it may progress and affect the other tube which may lead to an even bigger problem. Blocked tube are most often caused by chronic infections which must be treated else it will progress.
Best regards and hope this helps you
