Have Blood Along With Saliva When Spitting. Had Jaundice Earlier And Have Dibetic. What Could Be The Problem?

my father just spitted fresh blood fron his throat,but with intervals along with saliva,he has a previous hostory of jaundice and dibetuc but today when I checked his blood sugar was 98 that is low and he was complaining of vertigo so I checked his bp it was 110.70 mm oh Hg,im myself a medical student ,now he has gone ti the doctor along with my mother.please answer now

Hello,
You would have measured blood sugar by a glucometer which can give a error of 50,so sugar might be more less than 98, so he is having vertigo.
vertigo in diabetics can also be because of neuropathy by long standing poor contol of blood sugar.
There are various reasons for it.
You can regularly monitor blood sugar, do check the batteries of glucometer if old,change them.
Get done SGOT SGPT PT INR and consult a physician.
