Have Burning Sensation Between Shoulder Blades. What Could It Be?

I'm a 52 y/o female. 5'5 175 lbs I have a history of hypertension I been having a burning sensation between my shoulder blades, with pain that radiates down my left arm. I recently had a stress test which came back good. I take Aleve for the pain. The last 3 days the burning is now a itching. today I noticed a rash, little bumps that looks like pimples. The Aleve helps the pain however every morning the same burning starts right when I get up. This started approx. 3 weeks ago.

Orthopaedic Surgeon, Joint Replacement 's  Response
Hi, thanks for writing to HCM.

Based on the description of symptoms,(presence of burning pain in the dorsal spine region, rash and tiny bumps) I suspect that you could be affected by Herpes infection.

I suggest you to consult a Neurophysician for a detailed examination and further management.

Hope this information is helpful. Good day
