Have Cauterized The Nose. Now Unable To Breath Through The Same Side Nose. What To Do?

hello my name is Janet I am 64, I had my nose cauterized to day the left side. I now have a lovely black nose and can not breath down the left side, will the black make go away, and will I breath down my nose normal again, I am finding it hard to sleep worrying about my nose .

Hello Janet,
You got your nose cauterised for nasal bleeding or other reason?
As cauterisation is done inside the nose not outside for bleeding and in such cases you have to use normal saline sprays and neosporin ointment for local application in nose to make nasal skin healthy.
But if cauterisation done outside then there is no question of blocked nose and only worry will be black nose.
