Have Chronic Knee Pain. On Zoloft. Prescribed Tramadol. Chances Of Getting Serotonin Syndrome ?
My Doctor prescribed tramadol for severe chronic knee pain...I am also on 200 mg Zoloft per day--what are the chances that I will experience "serotonin syndrome"? I didn't so the research before the office closed so was unable to ask him before i took a dose this evening. This worries me and almost makes me think it would be better just to opt for percocet?
There are chances of developing Serotonin syndrome to tramadol and Sertraline(Zoloft). Take the drugs in the doses prescribed by the doctor. Look out for the symptoms Irritability, confusion, rate heart rate and increased blood pressure. Stop the drug at once and contact your doctor or go to the ER immediately.
