Have Cough, Blood Pressure Issues. Taking Lisinopril. Is There An Alternative?
hi, i am just starting to take the medicine:lisinopril,5 mg. the doctor told me that it would start making me cough.well i haven"t stopped coughing.i take it for blood pressure.i looked it up and it says if i get this side effect,that i should consult my doctor.what i am asking..is there anyway i could be weened off it,or is there another alternative?because i cannot take the coughing anymore.please help??

in place of lisinopril you may take amlodipine (stamlo) 5mg once daily
my patients who are on stamlo never developed cough as a side effect
you may do it with your doctors approval
