Have Cramps In The Calf Muscle After Playing Game. No Medication Till Now. What To Do To Recover Fast?

Hi I was playing netball and after the game I cooled down and was doing cool down stretches when I could feel the cramp in the upper calf muscle come on, the cramp was sharp and very painful like they are but this cramp didn't loosen up it stayed cramped and tight it still is for sore 3 days later, i iced it and had hot soaks even rubbed it down with deep heat and it feels like a big knot in the calf its self where the cramp was, is there anything i can do to recover from this faster

calf muscle, or that you are having accumulation of
lactic acid in your calf muscle.

Lactic acid accumulation is not uncommon to people
who rarely do physical exercises or people with
sedentary lifestyles.

However, be it a trauma or accumulation of lactic acid,
you need to rest the leg but do gentle movements of the
lower extremity such as gently flexion and extension at
the knee and ankle.
