Have Dark Patch On Cheek Bone. Used Different Creams. Not Cured. Any Suggestion?

Hello Doctor, my Mum has a big dark patch on both her cheek bones and the older she gets, the more obvious it becomes and it gets darker too. She has used different types of face creams and serums but none has worked and presently, she s using foundation and concealer but its obvious she s hiding something. Please what do you recommend she use that will work once and for all?

Hi,
Welcome to HCM,
From her history it suggests that she might have Iron deficiency anemia giving rise to butterfly appearance on face.
Go for hemoglobin estimation and after report go for the treatment accordingly.
Avoid using more facial make up, cosmetic etc.
Have face wash with branded face wash.Give fresh fruits, green veggies and some multivitamin supplements.
Ok and bye.
