Have Delay In Periods. Have Sex Regularly. Pregnancy Test Done, Negative. What To Do?
Hi,
I am currently around 2 weeks late on my period. I have tracked my periods for the previous 3 months and I had periods as follows:
21st of January
21st February
25th of March and then nothing since then.
Myself and my boyfriend have had sex regularly during this time.
Currently I painful and heavy breasts and stomach pains (light over the last two days). I have completed 4 pregnancy tests and they have all been negative. Please advise?
Many thanks
It seems like your last periods was on 25 March and you have done 4 pregnancy tests with negative results until now.
In my opinion, you should be going in for an ultrasound of uterus and the ovaries through abdominal or tranvaginal route. This is more specific way of confirming if you are pregnant or not.
You may do a serum Beta HCG test as well. However, I still think tranvaginal or transabdominal ultrasound is much better.
If you are not pregnant, then there is a probability of PCOD (Poly Cyctic Ovarian Disease) in you.
Wish you good luck.
