Have Dermoid Cysts, Had Bleeding. Trying To Conceive. Undergone Laparoscopy And Laparotomy. Suggestion
Hi, I have been trying for a baby from past 3 years. I have undergone laparoscopy and laparotomy for dermoid cysts with in these 2-3 years. After first laparoscopy, i got back the cysts again with in one and half years so underwent laparotomy and I have conceived twice after that and had 2 miscarriages(both natural and at 5 weeks). The recent miscarriage was in May and the bleeding lasted for nearly 6 weeks and even after that i continued to get my periods every 15 days. So my doctor put me on Femilon tablets for a month and i got my periods exactly 28days, now she has suggested me to continue Femilon for another 2 months, but I am eager to conceive. What will happen if i stop Femilon now and try to conceive?
Hello. Thanks for writing to us. Your doctor has suggested femilon for three cycles to regularize your cycles. Irregular cycles are anovulatory cycles and will not help you in conception. I hope this information has been both informative and helpful for you. Regards, Dr. Rakhi Tayal , drrakhitayal@gmail.com
