Have Diabetes. Pain In Foot After Aerobics. Red Spots Below Feet. How To Relieve Symptoms?
my wife is diabetic and last night did water aerobics without her water shoes and now has pain so bad in her left foot she cant stand on it or walk on it. I looked at the bottom of her foot there is no cuts or blisters present just a couple of red spot that would probably be from her repeated impact with the bottom of the pool...we are low income and I was wondering if there is anything I can try to relive the symtoms without going to the doctor first??
Hello, Thanks for the query to H.C.M. Forum. Since, how many days, your wife having diabetes ? What type of diabetes? type 1 or type 2. As far as concern about pain and red spots over foot may be due to exertion and thrust. Take rest for 5-6 days and these symptoms will disappear. However diabetic are more prone to infection after injury so be aware about that. For pain and red spots ,don't worry as spontaneously heal. Good luck. Dr. HET
