Have Difficulty Speaking, Numb Throat. Had Cough And Cold. Can Online Doctor Help?
Hi, i went out friday night with the guys, drinking, smoking singing loudly, i already had a mild cough and cold, on the way home i noticed id lost my voice all of a sudden, this morning still unable to talk properly, yet i feel no discomfort whatelsoever in my throat in fact its more the opposite as if my throat is completely numb. any advice would be appreciated
Hi welcome to hcm.
Since u alredy had mild cough and cold before friday it seem that u had viral infection .
because of smoking ,drinking and singing loudly u have strained ur vocal cord and with superadded viral infection ur throat is numb.
i would suggest u to quit smoking and drinking as these can aggravate ur problems and can lead to other medical problems.
take rest ,plenty of fluids in diet, any cough syrup like bro-zedex 2 teaspoonful 2-3 times per day, warm saline gargle 3-4 times a day.
if problem still persist get ur self examined by family physician and for further management.
thanks
hope solved ur querey.
