Since u alredy had mild cough and cold before friday it seem that u had viral infection . because of smoking ,drinking and singing loudly u have strained ur vocal cord and with superadded viral infection ur throat is numb. i would suggest u to quit smoking and drinking as these can aggravate ur problems and can lead to other medical problems. take rest ,plenty of fluids in diet, any cough syrup like bro-zedex 2 teaspoonful 2-3 times per day,warm saline gargle 3-4 times a day. if problem still persist get ur self examined by family physician and for further management. thanks hope solved ur querey. dr vinod
