Have Discomfort Holding Urine, Blood In Urine, Discolored, Blobs In Urine. What Is It?

I went to the bathroom earlier and when i was done urinating, i still felt like i had to go. Every minutes i get a feeling like i have to urinate very badly, but when i go to the bathroom only two or three drops come out and there is a discomforting feeling like i have been holding in my urine for hours. There is also blood in my urine, not a lot though. It makes it discolored though. Also, sometimes there will be a gooey blob with some blood in it.

Hello dear,

The symptoms like urgency to pass urine & presence of blood suggests towards possibility of Urinary tract infection.
Presence of blood indicates involvement of urinary bladder.

The treatment involves:
1. Drinking lots of water (it dilutes the urine & reduces the burning sensation)
2. Antibiotics depending upon culture & sensitivity.
3. Analgesic like paracetamol 500 mg three times in a day can be added to take care of pain and fever (if any).

Investigations like Urine microscopy & culture will be helpful.

So, kindly consult an Urologist & start treatment accordingly.
One more thing...you should avoid acidic foods, carbonated drinks & maintain good hygiene.
There is no need to worry...you will perfectly alright after taking the course of antibiotics.
