Have Dizziness And Nausea After Taking Lamisil Oral Medication. When Will The Side Effects Go Away?
I started taking Lamisil oral medication one week ago. I had no side effects until 6 days into taking it. I felt dizzy on Sunday and nauseous on Monday. I called the pharmacy and asked about taking Gravol. They said it would be ok. I took a tablet and went to work. Symptoms became worse and I did not feel like I could drive or even walk properly. I stopped taking the medication (left a message with my doctor). I am still feeling dizzy and nauseous despite not taking any more Lamisil since yesterday morning. Can I expect these side effects to go away soon?
Hi Somtimes stomach upset, diziness etc., may occur with oral Lamisil (terbinafine) medication. To avoid that Lamisil (terbinafine) should be taken with a glass of water or fruit juice after meals or with meals. Ingestion of Gravol (dimenhydrinate) causes diziness, drowsiness and confusion , so driving is to be avoided. Regards Ranjit
