Have Dry Cough, High Fever, Lost Consciousness, Had Melanoma Skin Cancer, Connective Tissue Disease, Lupus. What Can We Expect?
Hello!
This mornign my 15 year old had a difficult time making it up the stairs, she felt very weak then a couple of hours later
she passed out this and loss conciousness for about 5 minutes. She was very confused and very limp and clammy. Her eyes have looked very dreary all day. She sounds congested and has a dry cough. Tonight her fever is at 102.3 . She said she currently feels dizzy, pain in back and shoulders, weak. Says she feels like she is on fire.
She has always been a very healthy girl overall. The only medical problem she ever had was Melanoma skin cancer 8 years ago.
Family history: I have connective tissue disease with Lupus
Everyone else in immediate family as well as her grandparents are healthy
Please advise. Thank you for your time
She still has her appetitie but says she feels very weak. She said her back and shoulders
Hi, as you describe she is other wise healthy, it all appears to be due to the infection and fever, while the fever is rising some people in some fevers feel very weak. The pains and weak ness suggests it is a viral fever, and needs to be excluded the dengue and chikan gunya. So i advise you to consult a physician for diagnosis and treatment. Thank you.
