my symptoms are joint pain and swelling. I have tested positive for connective tissue disease but not sure which one. I am negative for RA and lupus but have lupus symptoms. Does blood work give a false negative on this. or are they different types of lupus. my vitamin D was the result of 7

Pain and swelling in a joint indicates inflammation if there is no history of trauma and bleeding disorder in the past. Different types of arthritis have different pattern of joint involvement. All lab tests have some margin of both false positive and false negative entities. This is why doctors treat patients and not the blood reports. Your vitamin D level appears low. Vitamin D supplementation will be helpful.
