Infectious Diseases Specialist 's  Response
Hello,
Welcome to HCM,
The symptoms are may be due to viral infection with wide range of symptoms.
The pain and vomiting are some time associated with the viral infection.Irritation of the gastric mucosa may induces the nausea and vomiting.
I would suggest her
1.cough syrup
2.Oral NSAIDs
3.Oral Antihistamines
4.Antiemetics
If the symptom are not improving with this measures, she may require antibiotics for that you need to take your mother to the doctor.
Thank you.
