Hello

Welcome in H.C.M.

I have gone through your query regarding pain in ear and lameness in left arm.

As you said that you had already consulted ENT doctor and he did not find any thing wrong in your ear. Here I would like to tell you that some times we have referred otalgia (pain) ,in these cases usually patients are having disease of some other organ but pain is felt in ear due to common innervation. These organs are-

1- Tooth- some times diseases of last molars give rise to pain in ear.

2- Tongue- some times lesions of posterior third of tongue presents with pain in ear.

3- Tonsils- Very often patients of acute tonsillitis presents as pain in ear.

4- Eustachian tube dysfunction- This is well known for developing negative pressure in ear which results as blockade and pain in ear.

5- Temporomandibular joint- Arthritis and inflammation of this joint is always give rise to pain in ear.

So i think that you should consult your ENT doctor certainly he will find out the real pathology for ear ache, similarly your spine should be examine for lameness of left upper arm.

I wish your query is answered.

Regards.
