Hi I would like to ask about my health issue if this is connected to each other I have endometriosis for almost 1 year and my stomach is big like I look like 4 months pregnant now I would like to ask if this is connected that each time I eat I feel fullness with gas and I have light headed to after I eat I burp all the time my gallstone was remove already due to gallstone 5 years ago. I would like to know the condition is connected to each other why my stomach get big . thank you
Hi, Thanks for the query. Sometimes endometriosis can cause formation of endometrial cyst or chocolate cyst. For more details :http://srsree.blogspot.in/2012/08/chocolate-cyst-or-endometrioma.html In case of larger cysts, symptoms like pain abdomen, distention of abdomen, bloating sensation etc can be seen. Generally removal of gallbladder may not affect the gastrointestinal function. If the symptoms persist, once consult gynecologist, get examined. And go for ultrasound with her advice. Ultrasound will help in ruling out presence of any ovarian cysts or other pathology. According to the findings treatment can be planned. If no abnormality detected, antacids can help in relieving the symptoms. Take care.
