Have Fibromyalgia, Have MS. What Kind Of Specialist Does My Case Demand?
I have fibromyalgia and the symptoms are getting worse instead of better...my pcp is an internal med doctor who wonders if I have MS but testing has been inconclusive...I saw a neurologist today who was a total butt and was not helpful at all. What type of specialist do I need to see, or should I see a fibro specialist instead of my pcp?
Hello. Thanks for writing to us. For fibromyalgia and MS, it is best to consult a neurologist. He can give you the treatment according to the severity of the symptoms. Permanent cure is not likely in such cases. I hope this information has been both informative and helpful for you. Regards, Dr. Praveen Tayal , drtayal72@gmail.com
