Have Genetic COPD. Have Coughing, Mucus, Bronchial Hyperresponsiveness, Dizziness, Breathlessness, Allergies
Hello, I was diagnosed with genetic COPD 7 months ago. My family does not believe me and is making me feel confused so I have been researching extensively. I do have a lot of symptoms of COPD like coughing, mucus, broncial hyperresponsivness, dizziness, short of breath (especially stairs). I also have allergies. What is the difference between COPD and Asthma? Could I have been misdiagnosed?
Hi You are under confusion . Relax and be stress free . You dint mention your age factor. anyhow COPD is long term condition affecting adult which will progress badly in short time whereas Asthma is a condition were you get all mentioned symptoms .but it will be symptomatic in night or in early morning or if you get contact with cold or other allergies. Asthma is genetic factor so avoid smoking ,pollution , contact with pollens to avoid symptoms. Consult family doctor and do spironometry assesment test to check lung capacity.
