Have Had Experience With A Pilonidal Sinus, Bleeding In Thighs. Will It Heal?
I have had experience with a pilonidal sinus before on my tailbone. Three weeks ago I began bleeding in the seam between my thigh and my crotch, and I was given two types of cream to treat it. It seemed to be clearing up in the last couple of days but I went to have it examined just to be sure, and the doctor said it may develop into a pilonidal sinus. He gave me fucidin for it, but I don t know how this is going to help. I absolutely do not want to have another operation, especially not so close to my groin , so what should I do to help ensure it heals? Should I ask for a second opinion? What exactly is fucidin going to do to help?
Hi, Welcome to HCM, Typically the pilonidal sinus is in the natal cleft in the tail bone region . the groin is not the site for it . may be you had some furuncle there that caused bleeding and fucidin is the anti bacterial ointment to help it healing . one can always take a second opinion
