I have had the implant just under 5 years, it was replaced after the 3 years. The first few months I barely spotted after I haven't had any spotting or bleeding or any period related symptoms. I had unprotected sex about 4 weeks ago, and 2 weeks ago I started bleeding heavily, and have had quite a lot of mucus type blobs some are round and other have been long and a bit stringy, I have also been experiencing sickness, lightheaded, tired but unable to sleep, cramps and my mood is unpredictable mainly getting irritable and angry quite easily. It's starting to worry me hence contacting you.
