Have Had Thyroid Removed About 8 Years Ago. On Medication

Have had thyroid removed about 8 years ago. On medication for replacement. Thyroid was not cancerous. Had bone marrow biopsy, negative, had cat scans, negative, had mri, negative, had x rays, negative. Two years ago red blood count went doen to 4.8. Had blood transfusions. Immediate results, had to go back week later as blood dropped again. About 4 months after that rbc was up to 14.7. Doctor puzzled as to why. Was diagnosed with CLL, but can't find out what test diagnosed that. When in hospital for first transfusion the dr. on call had CLL himself and took extra blood and confirmed that was not the case. Now, two years later had same problem, blood count down to 5.7. Transfusion, then back again in a week for another, White blood count is normal, oxygen is normal, doctors puzzled. Can the thyroid imbalance cause my issues? and if so, what tests need to be done to correct it and how often? also I know kidneys secrete hormones to bone marrow to produce red cells. Can there be a connecting issue? We are all puzzled. Must be some chemistry imbalance somewhere?
