Hi.
Thanks for asking in Healthcare Magic.

The hair loss in PCOD is due to increase in your testosterone levels. Keraglo is a nutritional supplement. It contains Biotin, n-acetyl cysteine, calcium pantothenate and trace elements selenium, copper and zinc.

Biotin is B complex vitamin which is water soluble. It strengthens hair. N-Acetyl cysteine is an aminoacid. It increases glutathione, an antioxidant and is also found to stimulate ovulation, an additional benefit in PCOD. Among the trace elements Zinc improves fertility. So, in PCOD and for your hair fall, Keraglo is useful unless you have Biotin allergy.

Minoxidil lotion when applied topically increases hair growth by improving the blood circulation. Although the hair growth is slow and takes around 6 months many people benefit from Minoxidil. But it needs to be used continuously and the hair growth stops once it is discontinued. It can result in burning and itching.

Both Keraglo and Minoxidil are available OTC. However, treatment specific for PCOD will improve your hair growth and that is the permanent remedy. Take nutritious diet rich in protein, iron and vitamin E supplements as these will improve your hair growth.

I hope this is helpful for you.
