Have Headache. MRI Shows Pineal Cyst. Taken Topamax, Imitrex, Cimbia, Elavil, Florinal
I have a 17 year old daughter that has headaches for 3-4 weeks. She has had MRI that shows Pineal cyst 1.1cm. She has seen Neurologist that says it is migraines. She has taken Topamax, Imitrex, Cimbia, now currently taking Elavil 20mg and Fiorinal for pain that is not helping? Neurologist will not return calls since Wednesday last week. What do you think?
Pineal cyst dont cause severe headache althout mild headache can be observed. She is having headaches for 3-4 weeks and taken multiple medicines like topiramate, sumatriptan with no help. See migraine is a episodic throbbing headache that increases in severity with light, noise and is commonly associated with nausea and neurological symptoms. She is having headache continuously and is not getting relief with medicines so best in such situation is to visit her doctor again. Medicines usually take time to act and in due course of time she will start responding to drugs. Hope this helps you.
Thanks
