I got infected by Hepatitis A by end of July, 2012 & recovered completely by first week of September , 2012.....Before that i used to run everyday atleast over 7 Km. Since last week i ve began the running course again but i can hardly run 500 m..... Can you please let me know if this is okay..?? Any suggestions on food habits ?? P.S: I have done my LFT atleast 4 times after recovery till the last week and all parameters are within specified range..
Hepatitis A infection does not cause chronicity so it usually clears away with medication.
Medication has cleared away the infection so all your liver function tests are within normal limits.
However, the entire disease process causes lot of weakness.
It may take some more time to recover completely.
Take care of your diet. Take nutritious food and enough calories.
Start with your running practice slowly over a period of time.
Thanks and take care
