Have High Blood Pressure, Type II Diabetic, Neck And Joint Pain. Treatment?
My BP is 202/107. It has been running high all week, and was high this AM (182/120, 180/107,153/106) I am 62 yr old male, type II diabetic, have 3 stents and have been experiencing neck and jaw pain all day, especailly after walking dogs 2 blocks, etc. I just took by BG-- it is 308, after taking 80 units Lantus about 3 hrs ago. I do not have health insurance. Should I go to ER now?

You are virtually sitting on a time bomb as you are having not only uncontrolled diabetes but uncontrlled hypertension almond with cardiovascular symptoms.
Hypertension is recognised as a major risk factor for cardiovascular disease and do is diabetes.When bot co- exist,the risk is not only merely added up but compounded.
Hypertension in diabetes is associated with increased mortality from macro vascular as well as micro vascular complications of diabetes.
You must immediately go to ER as early as possible.
You must try to attain a blood pressure reading below 120/80 and blood sugar levels of fasting below 130 and PP below 170.
You must make sure that your diabetes and blood pressure is meticulously controlled along with LDL levels below 80 and triglycerides below 150.
