Have High Cholestrol, BP, Hiv Positive. On Antivirals. When Exercising Felt Dizzy & Fast Pulse. Problem?

I have family history of high cholesterol and am on meds for that. also been told I have high blood pressure but not on meds for that yet. doctor told me he would rather me try lose weight and exercise before going on high blood pressure meds. I am just under 80kg, age 37.I am hiv positive and have been on anti virals for 10 years. yesterday I started training to learn to box and felt like I was going to pass out and couldn't breathe while training. have been having fast heart rate and can feel my pulse beat fast and irregular in my neck for a few weeks now even when resting but since training yesterday I have felt different and even when resting it feels like my neck pulse is beating too fast and all over the place. not sure if this is normal or not. I only see my specialist every 4 months.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,
I went through' your complaints. BP treatment should not be initiated once BP is found high.
For 99% of patients the cause of BP could not be ascertained. Anyhow we have to do all investigations in blood and ECG to rule out any probable cause. Meanwhile the patient will be asked to be - control in diet avoiding fat and salt free diet.
If there is no obvious cause, still the BP is high, better to take Anti hypertensive drugs. Boxing helps to reduce your BP. But because of energy + O2 need for the muscles, the heart and lungs have to function rapidly. The rapidness may continue even after boxing. Continuing the boxing depends upon the severity of symptoms - for which only your Dr can advise you what type of exercise (preferably Isotonic) are suitable for you
My best wishes
