Have High Level Of Protein In Blood. Taking Steroids
my doctor told me i have a high level of protien in my blood. he took a blood sample but has t got resalts yet. ia m on steroids and weaning off them 5 more day s could this have any thing to do with it. also i got a bite 2 weeks ago and was put on backtim. ha d a bad reaction and was in the hospitol as my kidneys had a very high reading. they are back to normal thank you
High protein in the blood is indicative of chronic inflammation of the liver and sometimes chronic infection. Here are my suggestions to you
1. Being on steroids would not have caused the high level of proteins 2. The most common cause is dehydration, so please get your levels repeated 3. The repeat levels are high please approach a physician to get a complete body check up including ultrasound abdomen, liver function test, peripheral smear and serum electrophoresis 4. Do not ignore the condition
I wish you good health
I hope I was of help to you
Regards
