Have Knee Pain, Swelling, Warm To Touch And Lower Back Pain. Treating With Elevation Compression And Aleve. Is This Correct Treatment?

my husband has unilateral knee pn and swelling, warm to touch, is febrile @ 99.1 He also has c/o low back pain increased fatigue x 3-4 days. He is an electrician by trade and does spend time on his knees. treating with elevation compression and aleve. He has had the knee tapped about 1 year ago no infection was found. Recommendations?

I can under your concern what ever you are doing is okay but along with this he needs some medicine too, you can try some NSAID (Non steroid anti-inflammatory drug) and the Ibuprofen 400 mg is the best choice if he is running with fever then acetaminophen can be added with this have nice day.
