Have Late Period. HPT Negative. Trying For A Baby. Light Period. Passed Mucus Plug. Miscarried?
11 day late period. Trying for a baby. All negative home tests. On the 6th over due day I thought me period started but only lasted half the day if that and the tampon was brown not red. The next day at about lunchtime I had small amount of blood but not enough to fill a tampon. On the 9th day of no period I passed my mucus plug. I don't know if I have miscarried or if I'm still pregnant. Still no positive home urine tests. Have had a few pregnancy symptoms over the last week also. Don't know if I should just keep trying for a baby or if I am pregnant I don't want to risk anything
Hi, In the present scenario, you should be getting a blood pregnancy test done to confirm/exclude pregnancy for sure in the event of so many negative urine tests. Urine tests are not so sensitive and fail to get positive result when the hormone levels are very low; moreover they are able to show good result only when the precautions are aptly followed. If the pregnancy test is negative, you should see a gynecologist to evaluate for cause of the delayed period and manage appropriately. Hope this helps.
