Have Light Brown Discharge After Sex. Is It A Miscarriage?
Hi I was wondering my cycle came on may 15th and went off this past sunday I didn't have no discharge or anything on sunday I had sex on Monday and when we got done I was bleeding light brown discharge then it came to red blood and today OS Wednesday and I'm still bleeding what could this be a regular cycle or miscarriage?
Abnormal bleeding in any sexually active female warrants that a pregnancy be ruled out first. This will require you do a home pregnancy test with urine. If its positive, then you will need to urgently to an ultrasound to get the location of the pregnancy and the viability and gestational age.
However, other possible causes such as infections, fibroids and abnormal and rapidly growing cells at the cervix could cause similar symptoms.
So, do the pregnancy test immediately and then meet a doctor for detail evaluation and management.
