Have Lump Between Scrotum And Anus. No Pain. Irritates While Sitting. What Is It?
Hi. for 2 days now i noticed a lump about 1.25" long and about 1/2" wide right in the area between my scrotum and my anus but more towards the scrotum. it is firm and i can feel all around it and its usually irritated when i'm sitting with my legs closed. but feeling on it doesnt have a lot of tenderness or pain. what can this be?? I am worried it might be like a prostate cancer or some kind of cancer.
Hello
Thanks for your query.Based on the facts that you have posted it appears that you have developed Perineal Abscess .and looks likely it is in a stage of induration.
However this can be confirmed only on clinical examination to confirm the diagnosis.
Please consult qualified surgeon or Urologist for clinical assessment and further treatment.
In the mean while can take broad spectrum antibiotics along with anti inflammatory medications .
Get prescription of these drugs from your family Physician.
It should get cured in a week failing which you may need to get it incise and drained by a general surgeon.
