Have Lump Inside Breast And The Area Outside Is Red. No Pain. Advice?
I have a lump on the inside of my breast and for about two weeks the outside of my skin where the lump was located was red. Now it has been about three weeks to a month and it looks like a bruisemark and now there is some peeling of the skin where it is located. The lump is never painful my breast just tends to be sore at times.
hi an thanks for the question,
lumps in the breast in the yound females is usually due to benign tumours called fibroadenomas. In the elderly, especially blumps of acute onset, its very important to do a critical evaluation. This could range from being a coldabscess to a breast cyst. In a woman who has never done a mammographym this is an opportunity for her to do it. A clinical evaluationn evaluation to ascertain the actual nature of the breast, to check whether there is a collection and locoregional lymphnode enlargements are key issues important during the valuation process.
I suggest you visit your primary care physician or gynecologist for a proper evaluation.
Thanks and best regards,
