Have Mono, Yeast Infection. Ulcers On Gums. Anything In Common?

Hi i have a question about herpes . I m 19 years old and i was diagnosed almost 2 months ago with mono, I was also diagnosed with a yeast infection about 1 month ago, and today I noticed 2 ulsers on my gums. I am currently sexually active, but use protection, with my boyfriend of 4 months. I wanted to know if any of these three things have something in common, such as herpes.

Hi,
Welcome to HCM.
Mono is infectious mononucleosis which is a infection caused by a virus called Epstein barr virus. This virus belongs to the herpes family but it causes a condition which presents with fever, sore throat and swollen lymph nodes.
Yeast infection is a fungal infection which is caused by a fungus called Candida. This infection presents with small ulcers and white discharge. Candida can cause both oral and genital infection.
Gum ulcers could be bacterial. fungal or viral. I suggest you get in touch with a dentist who can examine these ulcers and treat you appropriately.
Thanks.
