Have On And Off Headaches And Dizziness. Solution?
For the past week I have been experiencing severe headaches primarily in the morning (pain seems to be radiating from the back of the head to the front toward the back of the eye balls) but occurring on and off throughout the day (feels like a hangover when I wake up in the morning), and chronic dizziness (like ridding the tea cups at Disney).
Let me tell you that headache can be due to many causes like migraine, tension headache, tumor in the brain, problems in the blood vessels in the brain, high blood pressure. Other cause could be cervical spondylosis, occipital neuralgia etc. Associated symptoms can also help us narrow down the possibility. These are presence/absence of vomiting, loss of consciousness, weakness of limbs, hand or leg pains.
The possibility in your case could be 1. Cervical spondylosis 2. High Blood pressure 3. Migraine
You need evaluation by a physician including scan. If these are normal, you will benefit with medications like amitryptiline, gabapentine etc.
Hope this helps
Best wishes
