Hi, Having severe osteoporosis at this age age requires evaluation. There can be 2 reasons having this problem. 1, deficiency of calcium, Vitamin A and D. 2, intake of low calcium or low absorption of calcium. 3, parathyroid hormone ( parathormone ) depletion in blood. Go for S. calcium level, parathormone estimation, parathyroid gland CT scan. After all these reports your orthopedic surgeon will go for treatment accordingly Ok and take care.
