Have Ovarian Cyst, Pinkish White Spotting, Had Miscarriage Before. Could I Be Pregnant?
My period is 4 weeks late, I am very tired and emotional, I though it was due to my blood pressure being high. I have ovarian cysts and i am 43 yrs old. I started spotting, pinkish white but only after having a bowel movement , which was more like diarrhea. Could I be pregnant and miscarrying? I had a miscarriage 13 years ago.
Hello, I would be happy to help you with your question.
In your 40's, it is not unusual to experience irregularity in terms of when or if you ovulate. This is what is sounds like is going on with you. Ovarian cysts are present every month in all women, so unless you were told that you had abnormal cysts on an ultrasound, then this is not a problem. The pinkish spotting sounds like it occurs with straining. This deserves a visit to an OB/GYN for an exam and possibly an ultrasound to make sure something else is not going on. But, the chance of pregnancy or miscarriage is very low. Regardless, you need to check a pregnancy test!
I hope that this helps and good luck!!
