Have Pain And Discomfort In In The Chest, Taking Foracort Autohaler For Wheezing And Breathing Problems. What Could Be The Cause?

29 yrs, Male, 72 Kg. Doctor prescribed Foracort 200 autohaler for long term use. Using Foracort 200 autohaler for the last 4 months. After its use I have been relieved of wheezing and breathing problems. But, now for the last 1 month I am feeling pain and discomfort in the chest. Is there any problem with the inhaler I am using? What should I do?

Hi, Thanks for using HCM.

After foracort no breathing problem means you are controlled of asthma. But for pain and disccomfirt get examined by your doctor once to know if lung is involved.
Get one Xray PA view to examine lungs. The problem may not be due to inhaler. But if any infection it will help in growth of micro organisms leading to problem. Have adequate regular sleep, nutritious diet with required calorie and regular outdoor exercises. Breathing exercises will be good.
Hope I answered your question. Consult your doctor for further management.
Feel free to ask me if you have any further queries or doubts and I shall be glad to help you out.
Wish you good health. Take care.
