Have Pain In Ear And Teeth. Had Root Canals And A Bridge Earlier. What Can Cause The Pain?
Had some dental work done. Two root canals and a bridge. This was supposed to correct a pain that traveled around my jaw. Moves from one side to the other. ear seems to be the focal point. Sometimes my head is dizzy. Had some bleeding in my ear some years ago. When I fly on a plane my ear does hurt in same area where they did the dental work. Dentist said the pain is not coming from teeth. This has been for a while, over one year.
Hello, Thanks for writing to hcm forum. Usually pain won't exist if root canal treatment has completed successfully. A thorough clinical as well as radiological evaluation is required to rule out the cause of toothache. Re-rct and replacement of bridge has to be done if required. Maintain oral hygiene well. Chances of trigeminal neuralgic pain also has to be ruled out. Take complete course of antibiotics. Please do visit a dentist for further reference. Take care.
