Have Pain In Rib-cage. Started With Sore Throat And Coughing. Had Kidney Infection. What This Could Be?

Okay I have been sick for a while that started with a sore throat and coughing. I'm still coughing really bad but woke up in the middle of the night with a sharp pain in the lower middle part below my rig cage. I feel like throwing up. This past year I was hospitalized with a severe kidney infection for 3 days. Know what this could be?

Hello,

Severe cough would have produced the muscle spasm of the rib muscles and the diaphragm which is causing the pain.
Cough may be due to infection and the source of the infection may be from the kidneys.
You need to consult your doctor for more help.
