Have Pain In Right Hand And Foot. Had Heart Attack. Related?
I have woken at 5am with pain in back of right hand and top rt foot. - it has been present intermittently for couple days. Had second heart attack in jan 2013 (identified by blood test in hospital) admitted for week - angiogram etc. this was mild one. Had mega heart attack 6 yrs ago. Drug eluding stent inserted at that time.. Currently Under care gp for hypertension , hospital lipid clinic for raised cholesterol . Concerned this may be heart related although repeat blood test in hospital A and E recently was OK. I can t keep calling 999 if unnecessary. About to visit family in Cambridge for mothers day weekend on Saturday. What doi do please. I haven t woken my husband - he is very stressed with all this. Thank you so much for any advice. However, any pain at this setting / age should be investigated as HEART PAIN – UNLESS PROVED OTHERWISE. In suspected heart attack, TIME IS OF THE ESSENCE – if detected early, an attack may even be aborted / the amount of damage and complications can be reduced remarkably. The most important time is the first few hours.
You should worry about heart - rather than disturbing 999!
You SHOULD SEE YOUR DOCTOR AS SOON AS POSSIBLE...
Better be safe than sorry - treated if a problem is found / Happy, if it turns out otherwise
