Have Pain In The Ear. Diagnosed As Parotid Problem Earlier. Took Antibiotics. Why Is This Reoccurring Again?

I am 33 years old. I went to an ENT last March 2013 for earache and a swollen parotid angling between my left ear and jaw. After saying that I have no ear infection, she said that I have problem with my parotid. She gave me antiobiotics. The swelling became smaller but it seems that a small portion was left. Now, I am beginning to feel the earache again. I hope the lump is not cancerous.

Hi, it appears that the parotid gland swelling is not treated completely, It need to be investigated and do the treatment.
I to my patients with shch condition advise MRI, and prescribe a combination of ofloxacin, ornidazole, protiolytics, and analgesics. Thank you.
