General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello dear,

The recipients of organ transplants are put on lifelong corticosteroids and other immuno-supressants to prevent transplant rejection.
The steroids are known to weaken the bone, which explains the cause of broken back at 4 places.

Regarding the pain, it can be attributed to:
1. Hypocalcemia- calcium is essential for nerve conduction & decreased level of calcium can cause such symptoms.
2. Dietary deficiency of nutrients like Vit B6, Vit B12 & Folic acid, etc,
3. Stress & hyperventilation
4. Inadequate hydration status & electrolyte imbalance in the body

Symptomatic relief can be obtained by intake of multi vitamins & calcium supplements.
However, if symptoms still persist, kindly consult your Physician for a proper clinical examination.
Investigations like complete blood count & nerve conduction studies will be helpful.

Wishing a good health.
Take care.
