Have Pain Under Rib Cage Which Wraps Around To Back, Dark Orange Urine. Breastfeeding. Right Treatment?
Hi, I am having horrible pain under my right rib cage which wraps around to my back. Usual occurs late at night but this weekend it's been throughout the day. I was told it was my gallbladder, however I am starting to have dark orange urine. I recently had a baby boy and breastfeed so don't want to take any meds that could pass through my milk. I have pregnancy only Medi-Cal and not sure who to see or what to do. Is this a serious medical problem due to the color of my urine and how my attacks are getting so frequent?
Welcome to HCM. Pain from rib cage to back and dark urine indicates stone in the urinary system. You can take nsaid with dicyclomin to subside pain . Go for investigations like cbc, urine and USG abdomen to rule out the renal stone. Start treatment under guidance of your doctor. Drink more water and other liquids. Keep in touch with your doctor.
